Suitable for machining steel, alloy steel, austenitic stainless steel, high temperature alloys and hard steel at moderate to relatively high cutting speeds under stable conditions. Features high wear resistance and plastic deformation durability. Double-sided triangular insert, positive rake angle that varies along the edge to negative in order to prevent chipping. Special design reduces cratering. Used for carbon and alloy steel, stainless steel and high temp. alloys.
