This CVD coated grade is designed for general purpose machining of austenitic stainless steel at moderate speeds and feeds. KCM25 inserts offer an extraordinary combination of toughness, built-up edge resistance and wear resistance in stainless steel applications. inserts are the first choice for I.D. turning of all materials and O.D. turning on small to medium lathes.
