Turning insert with a tough submicron substrate, PVD coated. Suitable for low-to-medium cutting speeds. Developed for machining of heat resistant alloys, austenitic stainless steel and hard steel. Double-sided trigon wiper inserts for high surface finish at high feed turning (0.3 to 0.6mm/rev). Three to five times better surface finish compared to standard turning inserts at the same feeds.
