Double-sided turning insert with a tough submicron substrate, PVD coated. Suitable for low-to-medium cutting speeds. Developed for machining of heat resistant alloys, austenitic stainless steel and hard steel. Wiper insert for high surface finish at high feed turning (.012 to .024 ipr). Three to five times better surface finish compared to standard turning insert at the same feeds.
