Double-sided turning insert with Tough cermet grade with PVD coating. Recommended for semi-finishing and finishing operations on steel at medium to high cutting speeds and low feeds. Features excellent surface finish, high wear resistance, plastic deformation durability and prevents built-up edge. Insert for positive rake angle that varies along the edge to negative in order to prevent chipping. Special design reduces cratering. Used for carbon and alloy steel, stainless steel and high temp. alloys.
