Knipex VDE StriX Insulation Stripper with Cable Shears 180mm

Details

The Knipex 13-6 Series StriX Insulation Stripper with multi-component grips, VDE tested up to 10,000V and safe for work up to 1,000V. They conform to DIN EN / IEC 60900. Made from high-grade tool steel that has been forged and oil-hardened, multiple times. Chrome plated finish. The knurled screw and lock nut provide easy adjustment to the required diameter of solid or stranded wire. Also fitted with a shear blade for cutting copper cable up to 15mm (5 x 2.5mm) and a bolted joint for precise operation with zero backlash. The pliers have a slim design for easy access.

Ideal for single, multiple and fine stranded conductors with plastic or rubber insulation, max 5.0mm or resp. 10mm cable cross section. Increments in the jaw provide a visual orientation aid for stripping consistent lengths (11mm and 16mm).
